We are hiring! Do you know someone who loves helping contractors?
The whole module has been overhauled with so many tweaks and improvements that you will have to see it yourself. We did away with the Edit and Preview mode so that you can do more in less time. Those with ‘write’ permission can click a field to make needed changes. This design and functionality will be used in future updates as we redesign other modules.
The Project dropdown in the header received a makeover to help you more quickly select the correct project.
Within Project > Settings, you now have the option to sort Projects by; Date Created, Date Last Edited, Project # (Ascending), Project # (Descending), Start Date (Ascending), Start Date (Descending), and Project Name.
Equipment usage, when added to the Daily Log or Equipment Logs, will now impact the financials within your project job costing reports so that you always know where you stand financially.
We improved the Estimate submission process to give you more opportunities to customize the message being sent.
If a custom folder has mistakenly been created and there are no files within it, it can now be deleted.
In addition to being able to define a default tax rate, you can now associate a default tax rate at the Customer level and at the Project level – further reducing the need to look up the appropriate rate.
These are now allowed. No reason it should have taken us this long.

Within Settings > Financial, you can define the default markup that should be applied to Wage, Billing, and Burden rates.
When importing labor rates, you now have the option to use the employees Wage, Billing, or Burden rate and add a markup to the rate.
When importing items into a T&M invoice, you can now easily see if an item has been Billed (added to another Invoice) or Unbilled.
You can now identify the Sales Rep and Estimator associated with the Project. This will allow for enhanced (future) notifications.

New Permissions allow you to give someone access to the directory without them being able to make changes to a user's account.
Forms associated with a contact will now appear in the Document tab of a contacts record.
You can now save your Client Access preferences as Default Settings so that they do not have to be configured for each project. This can be done within Project > Client Access or Project > Settings.
These can now be collected in Preview mode to help reduce the risk of someone deleting meeting details.
Two new options have been added for client-submitted CO’s and one for approved CO’s.
In addition to setting a Date, a Time can also be assigned.
You can now assign a time zone to your user account. This is helpful for those who travel across different time zones but need to maintain better tracking of times that activities were performed.
There were dozens of other smaller new features that were part of this update and we have many more UI improvements and other awesome features on the way. Keep up and view a list of all features that were not mentioned here by reviewing the Completed items in our User Feedback page here.
